Dr. Sadegh Shokatian, VP of Chemistry and Bioinformatics, leads Terramera's computational chemists and engineers in creating proprietary soil health measurement technologies for farmers and ranchers.

With over a decade of experience in computational chemistry and advanced spectroscopy, Sadegh has developed novel solutions for national research institutions and companies, specializing in health and agriculture.

Sadegh serves as a Member of the Board of Directors for the Digital Technology Supercluster that helps Canadian businesses work together with academia and government organizations develop and grow transformational Canadian companies.

Sadegh was born and raised in Iran where he completed his Masters in analytical chemistry prior to obtaining his Ph.D. in synchrotron-based spectroscopy at the University of Saskatchewan.
